story:
When I read recommendation of Caffé Saluto from shanghaiist, I decided to go there someday. Saturday I had dinner in Songjiang and had no time to go, but on Sunday I had about 40 minutes to stay there, after my class.
I searched the map, and know it's on An Fu Road near Wu Lu Mu Qi Road, but it still spent me more time than I had expected. Anyway, when I walked in, there were 2 girls and 1 american guy in it. Of course, the owner was also there. The cute owner recommended Maccheroni (?, a kind of italian noodle) with cream and mushroom.
I'm surprised the owner did the cooking by herself! But the noodle tasted really delicious, and smell good. It costed RMB 38, not as cheaper as I imagined, but a salame pizza there is priced RMB 35, seems not expensive.
The decoration of this caffe is in dark red, with feeling of old time. And the music.... I don't think it matches the caffe, is old song of Hongkong and Shanghai before 1949.
And to an unfashionable person like me, the most abnormal experiance was that the american guy talked to me and played some songs with my guitar! So shamed I even didn't know chord, but he just played and played, sang rolling stones, maroon five, and some other songs, romantically and tenderly. I really really like the sound guitar has and admired the man and imagined when I could be like him!
Finally, I was even complimented by the 2 girls and the owner that my English was good, and the owner wanted me to introduce girl speaking english to do temporary job in lunch time!
I don't have much experiance to be talked to, except being cheated or asked the way, and from that day I understanded a guitar is a very helpful tool, LOL~~
